Another quick update in the shape of a little piece of software. It's called 'Harptastic' and it creates constantly evolving pieces of music out of one short harp sample. It was made in Max/MSP and works on Macintosh computers.

The new year is here and this whole project is in dire need of some updates; the final year of university has really taken its toll... If anyone has anything they would like to get posted or featured, please get in touch and I'll see what I can do. There is one treat in the shape of a new piece by Chinwag called 'Stock Jokers.' It was recorded last year and may well feature on a new ep later this year. Enjoy!

Things would appear to have gotten a little slow around here. Sorry about that, it's been a bit manic recently! I've managed to find some time so I can get things up and running again... I'm in contact with a couple of bands that are interested in sorting out releases with the label. Hopefully I'll be able to confirm them soon. I also have the bad news that we are all out of Chinwag cds. You can still download the eps for free, hopefully some more hard copies will get made up soon...

Chinwag's second release, "All the Different Whites," will be released through Mooch Records on 4th October. It's four more tracks of instrumental music, picking up where "Royal Jelly" left off. The release is set to coincide with their performance at Corsica Studios with O Fracas and This Town Needs Guns where the band will be handing out free copies!

Our first release will be London based duo Chinwag's "Royal Jelly" ep. It's four tracks of drums and baritone guitar, taking influences from jazz all the way through to glitchy electronica. It is available as a free download here and there will be a further 50 hard copies available on cd soon.
